    Law Of The Land

    Welcome Everyone,

Unfortunately, in order to provide an excellent source of information and instruction, we must have rules. The rules here will be VERY SIMPLE, but they MUST be followed, or you run the risk of losing your account, so please pay close attention.

    Sig Files

-They can be a maximum of 4 lines long
    -no images
    -no colors
-All links in your signature must go to a page with your own content on it - in other words, direct affiliate links are not allowed.
    - No links to adult material

    Self Promotion

This is a marketing forum - So, marketing is allowed. If you have a product that will help someone who has a problem or is looking for information, you can mention it, and even link to it. HOWEVER - Coming to MarketCrush for the sole intention of slapping your links into any post you can find, isn't going to be tolerated.

Please don't make us change this rule. We are all marketers, and we want to provide an environment where you can market. However, the main purpose of Market Crush is to be an "information exchange" and a place where we can all meet, talk to, and form relationships with other marketers.

We are giving you an inch here - Don't take a mile.

Registered accounts - You are allowed to have 1 and only 1 account. Anyone found to have more than 1 account will be banned immediately.

As far as rules go - That is it for now

    Re: Law Of The Land

    Update: October 18, 2010:

All signatures must link to a page/site you own. No direct affiliate links. (like it has always been)

    However...

If someone asks a question about a a program/product to do this or do that and you know of one that actually does work well. You are allowed to put your affiliate link in your post. This is just a way of being fair to the person actually taking the time to post and give the resource.

You better have a reason why you think it is a solution though. Not just a 1 liner like:

    Try-->My affiliate link

    or

this looks good --> My affiliate link

    or

haven't tried it but you might want to try this --> My affiliate link
Posts like that will just be deleted and you will have annoyed me...

So make sure you have some useful things to say about why you think the product would be useful to the person requesting advice.

Abuse of this rule will just make it go back to no affiliate links. I think we can all be adults though here...and know the appropriate way to use an affiliate link when giving advice.
